This policy explains what information Every Event Planner (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit EveryEventPlanner.com or buy the Every Event Wedding Planner, and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Order information. When you buy, our payment provider Lemon Squeezy shares your name, email address, country and order details with us so we can deliver your files and provide support. We never receive or store your card details.
- Site analytics. We count page visits and clicks on the buy button. To do this we store a random visitor ID in your browser’s local storage, plus the page you viewed, the website that referred you, campaign tags in the link (such as utm_source), and your device type (desktop, mobile or tablet). We don’t store your IP address; we keep only a one-way hashed version for a short time to prevent abuse.
- Reviews. If you leave a review, we store your rating, review text and the name and location you choose to show. We publish them on our site with your permission.
- Messages. If you contact us, we keep your name, email and message so we can reply.
How we use it
- To deliver your purchase and send your download link
- To answer questions and provide support
- To ask whether you’d like to leave a review, once, a few days after purchase
- To understand which pages and marketing links work, so we can improve the site
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t use third-party advertising trackers on this site. We only send marketing emails if you’ve asked for them.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers who help us run the store: Lemon Squeezy (payments, taxes and receipts), our web host, and our email provider (to send order emails). They may process data only on our behalf.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as needed for accounting and support, usually up to seven years. Analytics events are kept for up to 24 months. You can ask us to delete your data at any time, unless we’re required to keep it by law.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or opt out of any review requests, by emailing hello@everyeventplanner.com. Depending on where you live (for example California, or the EU and UK), you may have additional rights, and we will honor them.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
